Tips To Prepare For C Section Delivery
When you get pregnant, what worries you the most is delivery. Most of the women these days prefer C-section delivery. This is because they are scared to go through the vaginal delivery. Although C-section takes time to heal, pregnant women prefer it as a better option! In few cases, C-section delivery becomes mandatory due to health conditions of the expecting mother. So, if you are going for a C-section delivery, here are tips you need to be prepared for it.
Tips to prepare yourself for a C-section delivery:

Read a guide: Read a guide that simply explains you how the delivery happens. This makes you aware of all the possibilities relate to C-section delivery. It also helps to prepare your mind for the delivery. Do not go into in-depth details of the guide. You should read only positive things and think the same for the growing baby inside the womb.
Keep a track with your doc: The doctor gives approval for a C-section delivery. Always consult your doctor and do not hesitate to discuss the issues and concerns openly. Remember, your doctor is the best guide for you. To prepare for a C-section delivery, always be in touch with your doctor to stay updated.
Pack a hospital bag: The delivery date is generally planned in a C-section delivery. So, you need to prepare for it beforehand. Pack your hospital bag which contains some light cotton (easy to wear) clothes, sanitary napkins etc that are even required for a vaginal delivery. However, the new mother has to stay in the hospital for few more days when compared to a vaginal delivery. So, carry some extra clothes and stuffs.
Discuss about pain: You know that the pain is going to be acute for the first few days or weeks after C-section delivery. Stitches takes time to heal so, prepare yourself by discussing about the pain after the surgery. Prepare yourself mentally and discuss with your husband. This helps get support from your partner.
Set your home: To welcome the newborn, you need to set your home. This can only be done before the delivery. During the days you are at home before delivery, decorate the kids room, train kids and pets at home (if any) and buy few basic clothes like napkins, socks, warm clothes etc beforehand.
