Anorexia Nervosa: This is one of the most common eating disorders found among teenagers. Here, they usually reduce the intake of calories. However, this disorder is more common among girls. The symptoms are sudden weight loss, drop in blood count, dizziness, dry skin, dehydration and a low blood pressure level.

Bulimia Nervosa: Teens who suffer from bulimia nervosa indulge in binge eating all the time. These teens never deprive themselves of food. They eat again and again, and repeat this cycle. They also indulge in self-induced vomiting. The symptoms are swollen jaws and cheeks and discolouration of the teeth.

Orthorexia Nervosa: Orthorexia nervosa is another eating disorder predominantly seen in teenagers. They may get fixated on eating only the healthier foods. They may also start developing obsession to attain a form of body purity. This behaviour may affect their social life too.

Binge Eating Disorder: This eating disorder is closely related to bulimia nervosa. Teens may indulge in overeating. They may also withdraw themselves from social gatherings. They may also face a lot of guilt due to their eating pattern and behaviour.
