Funny Lies That Parents Tell

The art of story telling could have sprung up from the art of lying? The latest finding states that parents out-beat their children in lying while raising children. The new survey could surprise parents that knowingly or unknowingly they tell up to 3000 lies while bringing them up.
The survey could make parents giggle in affirmation of the most commonly told lies.
Parents tend to lie about mere things in order to make their children behave properly; they also often lie about things when they do not know the answer to the questions their kids ask them.
Of the most commonly told lies which makes a whopping 84% was that "Santa Clause gave gifts to only good children.
"Most lies are ones our parents told us. Fables get passed through generations," the Sun quoted Kathryn Crawford of The Baby website, which commissioned the study, as saying.
Of the most funniest, 25% of the parents tell their children that their private parts fall off if they play with them often
Making silly faces makes God get upset, watching TV too long could make the eyes square, an ice cream man's jingle would mean that his stock is sold out, eating spinach makes one strong and develops good muscles are some of the other lies of the common lot that parents tend to tell to have their way with their children.
As a matter of fact, these lies expose the imaginative skills of the parents that they themselves are sure not aware of !
