Delaying parenthood can raise several health risks. It is neither good for the mother nor the unborn baby. This post deals with 7 problems that could arise in case of a late pregnancy.
Today, a majority of the couples are planning pregnancy after 35 years. Health experts are concerned about that trend as it is not really safe.
But priorities of today's world have changed and couples are willing to wait instead of having children soon after marriage.

What is wrong in waiting till 35? Well, here are some of the issues that may occur if you wait too long to become a parent.

Problem #1
As years roll on, the eggs in the ovaries will reduce. That will drastically reduce the probability of getting pregnant when you wish to.

Problem #2
After 30, women tend to ovulate less. This is another issue that decreases the chances of getting pregnant even in case of unprotected love-making.

Problem #3
With age, certain other issues (blocked fallopian tubes, endometriosis) could prevent your pregnancy.

Problem #4
The probability of birth defects in the baby could increase if you try to conceive at a late age. The probability of birth defects is 1 in 30 if you get pregnant after 45. But at 30, the probability is 1 in 1000; which means your chances of having a healthy baby is more when you are young.

Problem #5
The probability of miscarriage and still birth could also increase as you age.

It will be tough to undergo labour (and the pains associated with it) after a particular age.
