10 Ways To Stop Your Baby From Drooling
Babies drool, we all are aware of it. Some babies even drool more than others. But, this is nothing to worry about. In general, all babies drool and they drool a lot. Due to this constant baby slobbering, thanks to bibs which leaves babies dry at least for sometime in the day. If not for this piece of cloth, your baby will be loaded and wet in his own spit.
To stop your baby from drooling, there are certain things you can do as a parent. It is said that babies begin teething when they are around six and eight months of age. However, there are a lot of babies who begin drooling non-stop around three months itself. If your little one is constantly drooling and not of the teething age, then here are some of the best ways to stop the child from drooling. These tips can also be used if your baby has developed teeth.
Steps to stop your baby from drooling too much, take a look:

With A Toothbrush
Gently massage your baby's gums twice in a day with an electric toothbrush. This will increase mouth sensitivity to make him aware of the drooling and learns to swallow it in time to come.

The Straw Trick
Have your child use a spill-proof straw cup and get rid of the sippy cup.Using a straw cup will strengthen his tongue so he can swallow the drool more easily.

Try A Chewy
Give your baby a cool chew to soothe his gums. This chewy will temporarily halt the drooling.

Use A Little Jelly
One of the ways to stop baby from drooling is to simply dab petroleum jelly on your baby's chin. This acts as a barrier to keep the drool. It will also prevent skin irritations.

Wipe It Away
The best way to stop drooling is to blot the drool from your baby's chin using a soft cloth. Keep in mind not to rub the chin as it will tear it open. When you continuously wipe your baby chin, he eventually will get tired and try to suck in the spit.

A Gentle Blow
Blow gently on your baby face to distract him from drooling. Though this trick hardly works, it is worth a try.

Hide The Pacifier
Take away the pacifier, or at least reduce the time during which your child is using it.

Facial Exercises
Facial Exercises also help in minimising the drooling habit in your baby. Teach your little one to move his/her jaw up an down. You can also teach him easy exercises which does not allow the baby to remain open.

Sleeping Position
If your little one drools a lot in their sleep, make sure you change their sleeping position. Sleeping on your back rather than your sides can be a good method to help you prevent drooling.

Just Teach The Tot
Simply teach him to wipe his mouth when he drools and to suck it back in. This is one of the best ways to stop your baby from drooling.
