Is The Baby Diaper Better Or The Cloth Napkins

Newborn babies required at least 8-10 diapers everyday so it is obvious that diaper napkins play an important part in the baby's requirement list.
Cloth Napkins
Some prefer cotton napkins (homemade by cutting soft cotton cloth in the form of a baby diaper). This is easy as it can be washed and used so even if the baby requires more it is cost efficient. The cotton cloth is soft and easy to use. The baby feels light wearing them and is hygienically safe.
Maintenance - Washing the napkins in warm water and mild soap solution will be enough to maintain them. You can even soak wet napkins in dettol and dry it for further use.
Advantage – Cost effective, easy to maintain
Disadvantage – It can't absorb much water so needs to be changed every time it is wet. This gets difficult while traveling.
Baby skin care problems - The baby might get skin rashes if the damp cloth is not changed on time.
Baby Diapers
Baby Diapers are the best as they can absorb more water, they are easy to carry and can be disposed after use. The diapers don't stink as they are made of clinically tested material. Since the diapers have a good absorbing capacity, mother's need not worry about the baby's dress.
It doesn't damp the skin and keeps the baby genitals dry. Takes a good care of the baby hygiene.
Maintenance - No maintenance as they are disposed after every use.
Advantage – Portable and has longer life than cloth napkin.
Disadvantage – Heavy, uncomfortable and costly.
