Additionally, the goal is to increase global awareness of the importance of preserving water resources.

1. Wagyu Beef
Wagyu beef is renowned for its unparalleled marbling, tenderness, and flavour. The most luxurious type, Kobe beef, hails from Japan, where cattle are pampered with massages and sake. Prices can range from $200 to $500 per pound (which is around a whopping Rs. 41,711.58, making it one of the priciest meats on the planet.

2. Almas Caviar
Caviar, the epitome of luxury, includes a variety of types, but Almas Caviar stands out as the costliest. Harvested from albino sturgeon in the Caspian Sea, this caviar can cost an eye-watering $25,000 (Rs 20,85,578.75) per kilogram. Its distinctive pale colour and exquisite taste justify the hefty price tag.

3. Saffron
Saffron, known as the "golden spice," is derived from the stigmas of crocus flowers. It takes thousands of flowers to produce just one pound of saffron, which makes it incredibly labour-intensive. Its exquisite taste, vibrant colour, and various culinary uses have kept its price high for centuries. The price is around about $1,000 - $5,000 (Rs 4,17,115.75) per pound.

4. Kopi Luwak Coffee
Civet coffee, or Kopi Luwak, is a uniquely Indonesian coffee. The beans are harvested and roasted after passing through a civet's (animal) digestive system -yeah it's basically poop. The labour-intensive process and exotic origin contribute to its high price. This tasty coffee is priced at $100 - $600 per pound.

5. White Truffles
Hailing from Italy, the elusive white truffle is a prized possession for gourmet chefs. Truffle hunters and their dogs scour the forests for these aromatic fungi. Their strong, earthy flavour and limited seasonal availability make them highly sought after - and they cost $2,000 - $4,000 per pound.
