Durian
This fruit is also known as the "King of Fruits" in Southeast Asia. But, its pungent odour can make you think twice before you buy this exotic fruit. There are few hotels that even ban customers from having this fruit in their hotel premises.

Rambutan
This looks beautiful with the red hairy covering. When peeled, the flesh of this fruit is delicious, sweet and sticky. It has a large woody seed in the middle.

Mangosteen
This fruit is well protected by its hard purple exterior. When you cut open the fruit, it has soft, white, edible flesh. It has a sweet fragrance and leaves a good after-taste on your tongue.

Jackfruit
This is a really huge fruit. It is very famous in South India, and the fruit can weigh up to 80 pounds. The flesh of the fruit is yellowish orange in colour and it can be either consumed raw or fried. It is extremely sweet.

Wood Apple
This fruit has a woody rock-hard shell that is quite difficult to break. Once it is cut open, the flesh is smooth with a grey, yellow or green peel. It's a little sour in taste and is a tangy fruit, but when mixed with salt and pepper, it tastes absolutely perfect.

Star Fruit
The distinctive ridges running down the sides of this fruit has earned this fruit the name. It is super crunchy and juicy to taste. It is best enjoyed with a pinch of salt!

Dragon Fruit
The shape of this fruit resembles the dragon scales. The flesh of the fruit is white and it has black spotted seeds. It actually tastes quite mild and bland.

Lychee
This is a seasonal fruit. It is very fleshy, soft and colourless inside and is extremely sweet to taste. It has been widely used as a canned food and is served in Chinese desserts.
