Student life has many ups and down and when graduation is completed there are a few things things we all miss after graduation. There are a couple things that you would miss doing or being a student.

When you were in college you would have probably felt that this is not going to end. However the feeling after coming out of college is a feeling that everything has changed. Everyone has a different approach to college life.

8 Most Overrated Things About College Life

Some people have real fun being a student. On the other hand some of them would want to graduate and just move on. The thought of having nothing to do after graduation and lack of events to attend can be quite intimidating.

For several years you had spent studying and engrossed in the world of academia and along with that there was the exciting adventure of college life. Students who are going to finish university this summer will remember a few of the things that people would have told them about how they would miss college life after they leave.

Here are some of the things that you are going to miss after graduation.

Friends

Some of the things that you would miss after graduation are the group of friends that you had built over the past few years during your college life. Soon all of you will go your separate ways. Some of your friends will be dispersed across the country while some would be in a different country altogether.

Yeah there are still chances of you keeping in touch with them but the completion of graduation happens to be end of a period. These are feelings you get after coming out of college.

Unemployment

You would persuade yourself that as student you have a good reason for being unemployed. However the reality, is that you are desperately looking for a job but unable to find one.

Casual Clothing

Your wardrobe change can be a bit scary. It was always fun to walk around in casual clothing. In the real business world, you have no choice but follow a dress code otherwise you will have to resign your job.

Mom Being Proud

Whenever you return home for holidays, your mom tells you how proud she is about your academic achievements. She keeps telling anyone who comes home that her son/daughter is studying law/engineering.

And once you complete your graduation your mom has no qualms telling people that her son/daughter is just sitting at home and is not employed.

Holiday Breaks

When you started working you may not get the amount of holidays that you used to get while studying in college. Meanwhile in college, you enjoy two months of summer vacation.

Moreover this is not possible when you land yourself a position in an organisation. These are a few things missed after graduation.

Beautiful Campus

Studying in an idyllic college campus is serene when it is totally surrounded by good looking people of your age. Sadly in the real world it is not possible when you are stuck in a suffocating and bleak office space.

Student Loan

When you have taken a student loan and come to know that it has to be cleared. Most of the time you will not be worrying about student debt when you are in college since you can count on your father. However in the real world, that is not possible. You would know how hard it is pay that back.

Own Schedule

When you are in college you make your own schedule and interestingly it was a life without rules. Nevertheless in the real world, you have no free time and life revolves around the tight work schedule that you need to follow.

Missing 9.a.m Lectures

You will be missing the 9.a.m lectures of your professor. You would miss the crazy things that you do when your professor is taking class. On the other hand, when you start working there is always going to be problems because sometimes you would be still sleeping like a baby in bed at 9a.m instead of sitting at your desk.

Community

When you were studying there would have been one community that you connected with if you needed something which includes club, hall-mates or student related groups. However these things will be missed after graduation.
