Being punctual used to be one of the virtues of good education, but not anymore. Nowadays, being fashionably late is what works for people. And if you are the only punctual person in your group, then you have to bear burden of waiting for others on a daily basis. The signs that you are punctual will not help you get appreciation. Instead, it will only cause you inconvenience on a day-to-day basis.

Habits of a punctual person are no longer a matter of pride to set an example by. These days, if anybody spots the signs that you are punctual, then you will be the object of ridicule rather than awe. So if you are a punctual person, you have our sympathies and keep fighting as a lone warrior because punctuality happens to be a good quality.

Here are some awkward signs that you are punctual and the struggle you've to face due to your habit of being on time.

You regularly wander around malls waiting for your friends. Your friends tell you to meet up outside a café and then they don't turn up. So now, you are left with no option but wander aimlessly at the nearest mall until they arrive.

You always reach a party before the hosts are ready. You are invited at 7 pm for dinner. You arrive at 7.30 pm hoping to be fashionably late. But you are embarrassed to death because the hosts are still roaming in their dressing gown and the rest of the party arrives at 9 pm!

You reach a movie theatre on time and then you have to miss the first 30 minutes because your friends are late. You cannot get into the movie because you are the only one who thought of getting to the theatre early and buying all the tickets!

You cannot order you food at a restaurant even when you are hungry. You are really hungry and the smells of other people's food make you feel starved. And yet, you have to keep waiting for friends to arrive till you can order.

You end up drinking too much coffee or tea because your date is late. All you can do is fiddle with your mobile and order more coffee or tea so that the waiter doesn't bring the check. This is the only way to retain the table till your date arrives.

People accuse you of hassling them up. And if you call your friends more than once to find out where they are, they come and complain that they almost met with an accident because you asked them to speed up! As if, it was your fault that they did not leave on time to get to their destination.

You tell other people to come at least 1 hour earlier than they have to. That is telling signs that you are punctual and have come to the conclusion that other people have to be tricked into coming on time!
