Isn’t it true and a proven fact that food is a basic human need? Well, you can let go off everything at one point or the other, but surviving without food can become quite something. Food is something to be cherished, to be savoured. Your taste buds have the right to get the perfect taste. Most of you tend to crave for the right taste when it comes to having food.
In case, you are a globetrotter, you would have experienced varied tastes and different dishes. Each one is pretty unique in its own way. They differ in the way they are being cooked, the things added to them and the way they are sautéed or fried to ring in the desired taste.

When you travel the globe, your taste buds get accustomed to the different tastes, definitely! But, do they stay accustomed to living without some ingredients? What actually makes cooking such a beauty? The ingredients added to it! In fact, some of the ingredients stay common despite the region you are in. It’s more like they act as taste enhancers.
The only difference would be in the amount these enhancers are added to your food. Here are a few ingredients that are pretty common to all kinds of food.

Olive Oil
You would find that olives are heavily used in most cooking style. If not olives, at least olive oil has become an important ingredient of most cooking styles. Olives and olive oil provide less calories and give out an interesting taste making the food delightful.

Fresh Garlic
Garlics are interesting additions to your food. They make your food tasty and interesting. They belong to the family of onions, and have a similar pungent smell when they are raw. But, when you add them to the food they add some sweet and savory flavor. It acts as a natural cure for a variety of issues. It is a miracle medicine that is a part of most foods.

Herbs
Herbs are commonly used in almost all styles of cooking. Basil, thyme, oregano, rosemary etc. are absolutely delightful herbs that make your food delectable. Add a pinch of these herbs to your food to change the way they taste. Of course some herbs taste well only with selected food. For example adding basil to beans is a good idea, but adding the same to beetroot would cause a bad taste. Adding herbs is not really necessary if you can do without it. But, adding it will enhance the taste.

Cocoa
This is a common ingredient if you want to make sweets. You can't bake your cake, muffins, biscuits etc. without a pinch of cocoa into it. Making chocolates and spreading a variety has become simple and easy thanks to the presence of cocoa. This is an indulgence in its true sense. But, if truth be told cocoa adds flavors to your life.

Mixed Spices
This is a miraculous way of enhancing taste in your food. It spreads a wonderful aroma all over the kitchen when cooking. Grind the spices and add them to your food. You can use cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg, ginger and cloves to grind and make spices. Adding a pinch is enough to enhance tastes.

Cheese
What good is a pizza, pasta or a sandwich without cheese? In fact, cheese has become an important ingredient of most foods. To add a bit of tangy cheesy taste, adding cheese is a good idea. You have the less saturated ones and the high calorie ones too! The taste of cheese is indeed awesome.
