12 Children's Books Made Into Movies
There has always been a special connection between literature and cinema; both art forms borrow from each other. Many books are made into movies every year. It is a never-ending process. Not all books that are made into movies impress us. Some of the movies adapted from books are big flops even if the book was a classic or a bestseller.
When it comes to children's books, the process of adaptation becomes a notch more complex. You can adapt children books in to cartoons like Shrek. You can also convert these fantasy novels into semi-animated series like the Chronicles Of Narnia. There is also an option to makes these books into movies for kids and adults.
The last option is increasingly becoming a hot trend in Hollywood. Fairytale and fantasy novels like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or Alice In Wonderland are being converted into movies that are meant for adults as well as kids. Even the Harry Potter movies are popular among adults as well.
