The Indian Navy is one of the coolest and bravest armed forces in the world. It is a well-balanced and cohesive three-dimensional force, capable of operating above, on and under the surface of the oceans, efficiently safeguarding our national interests. It is one of the branches of the Indian Armed Forces which safeguards the country. The other two are the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Navy.

During the War that ensued in 1971 between Pakistan and India, our Indian Navy launched Operation Trident where the Pakistan army was inundated with fierce attacks from the Indian Army.
