    1. Brij Raj Bhavan Palace

    Brij Raj Bhavan Palace is one among the scariest places of India, where guards are slapped by the ghost. Situated in Kota, Rajasthan, Brij Raj Bhavan Palace is an ancient palace where a harmless ghost resides. The man in action is believed to be the ghost of Major Burton who was murdered in 1857 while serving as the British resident in Kota. It is said that this major is haunting the house for 178 years and has also slapped dozens of guards on duty.


    2. Markonahalli Dam

    Markonahalli Dam is another infamous mysterious place, which is known to torcher the bike riders. If you're planning to pass your bike from the dam, then you'll need to be careful because your bike will stop altogether. According to the reports, it is said that this place is a spot where an old woman was buried. Most of the bikers have shared their experience that they have had to drag their bikes to Bangalore, in order to get it working.


    3. Bhangarh, Rajasthan

    Bhangarh in Rajasthan is officially declared to be the spookiest and haunted place of India where entry is prohibited before sunrise and after sunset. It is noted that a person who tries to break the norms and enter inside the place has never come back. There is a well-known tale of a magician who cursed the town. The mysterious stories of Bhangarh have also being featured on the TV and people have witnessed unusual activities taking place there. Despite being a haunted place, Bhangarh is a popular tourist destination as well.


    4. D’Souza Chawl, Mahim

    D'souza chawl in Mahim is another common place which is known for the unusual and spooky activities taking place. According to the tales, it is said that a woman fell into the water and died to cry for help. Many people have witnessed a ghostly feeling when they are near the well or around the Chawl. Generally, Mumbaikar's avoid visiting this chawl.


    5. GP Block In Meerut

    GP block in Meerut is popular for all the strange and paranormal activities that take place here. It has been one among the favourite spots for those who love witnessing paranormal activities. Many people believe they have seen four friends enjoying alcohol by the light of a single candle. They believe these four boys are ghosts who do not harm the visitors. Some other people spoke about watching young girls coming out of houses in a red dress. It has now become a popular area among people.


    6. Dumas Beach, Surat

    Dumas Beach from Surat, Gujarat, is also known as the black sand beach, all credits go to the spooky activities that take place there. According to the data collected, it is believed that many people have lost their lives while trying to explore this beauty. It is believed that this beach was actually a Hindu burial ground and hence many ghostly activities take place here. You're not allowed to cross a certain point. There have been reports of people disappearing mysteriously and never coming back.


    7. Jatinga

    Jatinga village in Assam is one among those mysterious places where you can see a large number of birds dropping dead. According to the witnesses, birds generally drop dead between 6 PM to 9 PM on a moonless night between the months of September and October. Till now, the exact reason behind the death of massive birds during this period has not been revealed.


    8. Agrasenki Baoli

    Agrasenki Baoli on Hailey Road near Connaught Place is another popular place for those who fancy paranormal activities. According to the locals, this structure was constructed by Maharaja Agrasen and dates back to the 14th century. Agrasenki Baoli got filled with black water, which is believed to hypnotize people to commit suicide there. Many reports of people coming and committing suicide in Agrasenki Baoli have been reported. Others have also spoken about unusual and spooky activities taking place there. In spite of being a haunted place, it has become a popular place to be visited by the tourists due to the related stories.
