WIFW'15: Pero Presents A Garden Party

Is it really a ramp or have we just gate crashed someone's private garden party. WIFW 2015 has just started and the runaway is set up with flower pots and a coating of grass like a lawn.

The first show for WIFW 2015 Spring Summer was presented by Aneeth Arora. The young designer presented her brand Pero at the fashion week in a really unique way.

The theme of the Pero collection at WIFW 2014 was certainly a light and floral summer experience. The floral headgears added a thread of continuity to the collection which was mainly composed of white linen outfits.There were many sheer white kaftans, tunics, shift dresses and flared maxis. We also got a glimpse of floral printed jeans and capris.

But what struck us as cool in Aneeth Arora's WIFW 2015 collection were the bright and cheerful Nike shoes. The vibrant sneakers added a comfy touch to the entire collection.

There were some notable works with crochet and some checked fabric design as well. This is clearly a collection aimed at a very hot summer.

Most of the outfits were sheer layered under clothes. We also saw some interesting crochet jackets and crop tops. But the most interesting element of this collection is the back button-down outfits. The dresses and maxis that we saw in the collection were mostly white with floral embroidered bosoms. Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2015 Spring-Summer is official open now.
