Karisma Kapoor Glitters In White Dress

Karisma Kapoor's public life has been improving by leaps and bounds after her divorce. She is making several public appearances and her dressing sense is also getting more experimental these days. At one point of time we were tempted to think that elder Kapoor sister was dressing conservatively. But Karisma Kapoor's latest appearance in a white dress has proved that she can try something experimental too.

Recently, we saw the lady in a blingy white number that gave us quite a start. She was wearing white palazzo pants with a silver top. The silver top was way too blingy for our liking. The outfit would have looked better on the stage or for a live performance. But Karisma Kapoor was at the Glamour South Mumbai 2014 jewellery store launch. This event was a glamorous one but not appropriate for a glittering top like this one. Karisma Kapoor's white dress could have looked better with something a little less glittery.

The ensemble could still have passed off without too much criticism. However, the denim vest that Karisma added to the outfit was a total misfit. The denim vest completely confused the look making the outfit all the more top heavy. It so happens that Karisma Kapoor was in a Kanika Kedia ensemble. The original ramp version of the outfit also had the vest but the styling was different.

Karisma Kapoor's style for this look was very retro and that is what did not work for this outfit. We like the faux bob hairstyle but it was not befitting this outfit. A simple side plait would have looked better with this outfit. The silver Amprapali cuffs however looked very cool with this dress. All in all, this outfit was not a complete disaster but we expect better from Ms Kapoor.
