IIJW 2014: Celebrity Showstoppers On Day 1

India International Jewellery Week 2014 has just gone live and the ramp is already flooded with celebrities. We have seen half a dozen celebrity showstoppers on Day 1 of IIJW 2014. This fashion week is always a starry affair. Almost every jewellery designer label ropes in leading Bollywood divas to be their showstopper.

This year, we have a particularly good turnout. IIJW 2014 kickstarted with a collection showcased by Gitanjali Jewellers with Neha Dhupia as their showstopper. This followed by Surya Golds in association with Swarovski who were represented by Ameesha Patel on the runaway. Chitrangada Singh was next to take centre stage. We also saw Kalki Koechlin make an appearance for Preeti Jewels.

As the evening wore on, we saw reality star Gauhar Khan walk the ramp for IIGJ in a white gown in the avatar of a goddess. Dia Mirza was dressed as a traditional bride for Shobha Shringar Jewellers. She dazzled us in an orange and gold lehenga. But the best was yet to come. We saw Sunny Leone dressed in a black gown walking for Apala.

Here is a round up of all the gorgeous celebrity showstoppers who walked on Day 1 of IIJW 2014.

Neha Dhupia: Gitanjali Jewellers

Neha Dhupia walked for Gitanjali Gems as their showstopper. She was dressed in a pink and purple lehenga that was complemented by bridal diamond jewellery.

Ameesha Patel: Surya Golds & Swarovski

Next in line was Ameesha Patel dressed in a green bustier choli and pink lehenga. She wore some really chic white gold jewellery. The most striking piece of jewellery she wore were a pair of handcuff bracelets.

Chitrangada Singh: Moni Agarwal

Bollywood's sultry diva Chitrangada Singh walked the ramp for designer Moni Agarwal. Chitrangada was dressed in a coral lehenga choli and we particularly liked her kamarbandh.

Kalki Koechlin: Preeti

Kalki Koechlin walked for Preeti Jewels as their celebrity showstopper at IIJW 2014. Kalki was dressed in red strapless gown and wore a choker necklace that had diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies.

Lisa Ray: Farah Ali Khan

Lisa ray was the celebrity showstopper for Farah Ali Khan's jewellery collection. Large rectangular emeralds were the focus of this jewellery set. She wore emerald chandelier earrings with a chain of square cut diamonds.

Gauhar Khan: IIGJ

Gauhar Khan was dressed like a demi goddess as she walked down the ramp of IIJW 2014 for IIGJ Jewellers in a white gown. She wore a diamond necklace fashioned as a tiara to adorn her hair. She also wore a necklace that was accentuated by oval cut emeralds and studded with diamonds.

Dia Mirza: Shobha Shringar

Dia Mirza was dressed in a splendid orange and gold lehenga choli as she represented Shobha Shringar Jewellers on the runaway. She looked totally ravishing in diamond as well as gold jewellery.

Sunny Leone: Apala

The last but by no means the least was Sunny Leone. She walked the ramp for Apala Jewels designed by Sumit Sawhney. The theme of the collection was 'The Royal Tribe' and Sunny was dressed as would be-fitting for a 'Tribal Queen'.
