Rohit Bal's Bridal Collection At IBFW 2013

Day 4 of the ongoing Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 was a very interesting watch! Ace fashion designer Rohit Bal presented his first ever bridal collection at the IBFW 2013 ramp. Models graced the ramp in beautiful coloured traditional bridal outfits. However, the showstopper Sonam Kapoor wrapped up the show with a punk factor!

Sonam Kapoor, the style icon of Bollywood was recently spotted in a Rohit Bal white anarkali and surprisingly, the actress walked as a showstopper for the designer at IBFW 2013.

Rohit Bal presented his bridal collection for the first time at IBFW 2013. The designer introduced some nice bridal wear for the fashionable brides. We saw some fresh designs, colour combination and patterns on the ramp. We saw heavily embroidered floor length anarkali gowns, embellished men sherwani, kurtas, sarees and lehengas.

After looking at the bridal collection of Rohit Bal, we are amused as it is the first time the designer has showcased a bridal collection on the ramp. The bridal collection of Rohit Bal is for the bride, groom and the extended family to wear!

Sonam Kapoor, the showstopper looked amazing in a creamy white coloured printed lehenga. The lehenga had golden zari embroidery. Sonam accessorised the desi look with lots of jewellery. From heavy haars to the side mang tikka, Sonam Kapoor dazzled the ramp when she walked as a showstopper for Rohit Bal. After looking at his collection, You can surely say that Rohit Bal has a lot of fashion sense in bridal wear too!

Black Floral Printed Saree

Black was widely used by Rohit Bal. This black and white floral printed saree has black floral motifs on white borders, and the thread work looks amazing!

Bandhgala Half Jacket

Lot of men's wear was also seen on the ramp of ongoing Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013, Day 4.

Black Kurta Pyjama

Men's wear exclusively had bandhgala kurtas which were either teamed up with pyjama or with long skirts.

Black Gown

This plain black gown with lots of frills has been smartly teamed up with a golden embellished cape like velvet jacket.

Prints

Few gowns were seen in colourful prints. The neckline was embroidered with thread work.

Velet Kurtas

Bandh gala velvet kurtas with heavy thread work was seen on male models. Few kurtas even had velvet motifs on them.

Blue Lace Anarkali Gown

This is an awesome bridal creation by Rohit Bal. The blue anarkali gown with a bandhgala has velvet borders and patches of red threadwork on it.

Net Saree

A bridal collection is incomplete without a saree! The creamy white coloured net saree has golden, orange and red work on it.

Blue Floral Gown

It is a heavy anarkali gown the blue velvet anarkali gown has been heavily embroidered with golden floral motifs.

Golden Kurta

The golden checkered pattern kurta has blue velvet piping on the sleeve ends and collar.

Sequined Saree

This golden saree has heavy booti golden work on the red border.

Corset Velvet Blouse

Corset style heavily embroidered velvet blouse were worn by models. Looks stylish with the cap sleeves!

White Anarkali Gown

The creamy white anarkali gown worn by Miss Universe Canada, Sahar Biniaz, has golden embroidery and red thread work at the bottom. It has been accessorised with a red velvet jacket and white dupatta. The dupatta has red floral motifs stitched on it.

Red and Golden Anarkali Gown

This is a heavy anarkali gown that is shining bright with golden work on the velvet red surface.

Red Bridal Lehenga

It is a heavy and glittering bridal lehenga showcased at IBFW 2013 ramp. The red velvet lehenga has golden embellishment. It has been teamed up with a matching velvet blouse and red net dupatta.

Golden Lehenga

The base colour of the lehenga is red, but is has been heavily stuffed with golden work which makes it look perfect for the bride!

Sonam Kapoor

Showstopper Sonam Kapoor wore a creamy white lehenga with golden patches on it. The lehenga had a big frill on it and was embroidered with golden zari. Sonam accessorised it with gold jewellery.

Rohit Bal

The designer behind the bridal collection walked the ramp in a black velvet jacket and black jodhpuri pants. This is the first bridal collection showcased by Rohit Bal.
