Pregnant Kate Walks Out For Coffee At Starbucks

The media and people have seen very little of Kate Middleton after she got pregnant. But, yesterday was a surprising bonus. Imagine the delight of the Starbucks coffee shop employees, when the Duchess of Cambridge suddenly walks in for a coffee! Yes, the pregnant princess, Kate Middleton has apparently had enough of her exile. She went out for a casual stroll on Kensington Garden.

And guess who accompanied her apart from the next prince or princess to be? The security guards of the British Royalty and also Kate Middleton's little dog, Lupo. The pup Lupo is actually a lucky cocker spaniel who is lavished by the young royal couple William and Kate. But poor Lupo had to wait outside Starbucks coffee as her royal mistress enjoyed her coffee and snacks.

The Starbucks employees reported that the Duchess of Cambridge ordered a de-caffeinated latte and cookies. Looks like pregnant Kate Middleton is taking her diet pretty seriously. No caffeinated drinks for the princess who is just entering her second trimester of pregnancy. Kate was dresses simply in a long over coat and a scarf stylishly wrapped around her neck.

Kate Middleton had earlier made remarks that living by the rules of the British royalty can be a stressful affair. After all, there are numerous public appearances and at least 5 sets of change in clothing on an average day. However, after getting pregnant, Kate Middleton has been taking it slow. She battled severe morning sickness in December and was hospitalised for 3 days. Ever since, she has massively cut down on her public appearances. In fact, her appearance at the Sports Personality of the Year was not scheduled.

If the Royal spokespersons are to be believed, Kate will take another month or so off from her public engagements as the Duchess of Cambridge. So, this rare walk down the street for coffee is a treat both for the princess and all her fans & well-wishers across the world. She had in fact cancelled all her appointments for the month of January.

The royal baby of course is due in July. So, William and Kate's child shares his/her birth month with their grandmother, Lady Diana. Moreover, the Queen has changed some British rules for the prince or princess to be already. According to British royal traditions, the first born girl of a heir did not get a title. But even if a pregnant Kate Middleton delivers a baby girl, she shall have a royal title. So let's hope Kate Middleton gets to enjoy the rest of her pregnancy and delivers a healthy baby!
