Day 5 IIJW 2013: Chitrangada Walks For PCJ

Day 5 is the last day of IIJW 2013. The grand finale of IIJW 2013 was laid out in 3 main segments. The first part of Day 5 IIJW 2013 was for GIA graduates to display there designs. The second segment was given to the sponsors of India International Jewellery Week 2013, PC Jewellers. The showstopper for PC Jewellers was Chitrangada Singh.

The collection from PC Jewellers was opened by well known film-maker Madhur Bhandarkar. Madhur wore a black bandghgala sherwani with a white churidar. He displayed a piece of S-shaped diamond brooch. And Chitrangada walked the ramp of IIJW 2013 on Day 5 as the showstopper. She was clad in a red ballroom gown. The red gown was strapless and had several frills below the waist. In fact, the dress was made of red lace from below the waist. Chitrangada did the most stunning walk on the ramp of IIJW 2013 on Day 5. Her brown hair was left open and to suit the sexy diva look.

The top half of Chitrangada's gown was made of wine red coloured velvet. The entire bodice had golden embroidery on it. Matching the splendor of the gown was a huge diamond necklace from PC Jewellers that was displayed on the ramp of IIJW 2013 on Day 5. The necklace that Chitrangada was wearing was in the jadao style. It was a proper collar necklace. It was slightly lose around the neck and covered the entire bosom. The necklace had a large pendant dangling under it.

The entire jewellery set had very large uncut diamonds studded in it. The earrings were long and followed the same design as the necklace. Chitrangada also wore a broad diamond bracelet on her right hand. The bracelet was a loose rounded handcuff made of gold and studded with large diamonds. Although the design of the necklace was ethnic, you can also wear it with zesty Western gowns. It is true that PCJ had saved the best for the last. The Grand Finale of IIJW 2013 was wrapped up in style.

White Gold Tiara

This does not look like a conventional tiara but a chain with a pendant. This white gold chain with a diamond pendant has been worn on the head like a tiara.

Emerald n Diamond Shell Necklace

This necklace has a unique design. It is composed of spiky shells made of emeralds and embellished with diamonds.

The Wire Necklace

This broad necklace is looks like a result of rolled up wires. The pendant is a wine coloured gemstone.

Minakari Mangtikka

This huge mangtikka is a true innovation. The wine coloured circular mangtikka has been embellished with white gold.

Floral Jarao Necklace

This is an enchanting collar necklace that has floral patterns in it. Each flower has a ruby studded in the centre and diamonds surrounding it. These is also a string of pearls attached to it.

Square Jarao Necklace

This collar necklace is also in the jarao style and covers the bosom in a square shape. This necklace has really large uncut diamonds and gemstones studded into it.

Floral Jarao Earrings

These large hanging earrings are quite traditional. The central motif is that of a flower. There is a huge ruby set in the middle of the flower and droplets of diamonds coming down from it.

Choker n Layered Necklace

The base of the necklace is an all-diamonds choker. Then there are 5 strings of single diamonds under the choker. This layered necklace is perfect fo any Indian bride.

Pearl Necklace With Golden Pendant

The lace of this neckpiece is made with thick strings of tiny white pearls. The pendant is a huge golden one embellished with large oval shaped pearls.

Multi-Gems Earrings

This modernistic looking pair of earrings has almost all the gemstones possible. We can see traces of green, blue, amber and yelllow in it.

The Showstopper

The showstopper Chitrangada Singh wore a massive diamond collar necklace. The necklace was loose around her necklne but covered her entire bosom. There was a lage pendant dangling under the necklace.
