launches voice chat service
Chennai, May 29 (UNI) Leading private broadband and telephone service provider, today introduced voice chat service on fixed lines to deliver innovative service offerings to its customers.
The voice chat on fixed lines will enable the customer to talk and chat with other mobile and fixed line customers across the country, a release from the company here said.
The primary aspect of this service was that it will enable the users, especially women to search for friends among strangers without the risk of exposing their real identity.
All users have the option to accept or reject the invitation, thus offering security as well as anonymity. This service was available to customers at a monthly rental of Rs 30 per month and a nominal charge of three rupees per minute.
To avail the service, fixed line users will have to call '*694' and register their profile, the release added.
