It is a commonly known fact that aquarium fish bring luck and prosperity to your home. Both according to Chinese Feng Shui and Indian Vastu, aquarium fish are good omens for the home. This is primarily because fish live in water, and any kind of water source is considered good to absorb the bad energies within your home.
Besides aquarium fish are good for your concentration. Fish are quite pets that do not intrude into your lifestyle. You need not take too much care of fish kept in a tank. You just have to feed them and clean the tank every fortnight. That is why, aquarium fish are lucky and also convenient.
However all types of aquarium fish are not lucky. Only certain types of fish are considered lucky. Certain features determine whether or not aquarium fish bring luck to your home. Here are the characteristics that make aquarium fish lucky.
Colourful
Marine fish can have some really vibrant colours. Taking a look at these blazing shades of colour on a living being is good for your eyes and your mood. That is why colourful fish like the gold fish or mollies can be considered aquarium fish that are lucky for your home.
Active
Lazy fish are not attractive to look at. Some fish like the moonlight fish are very lazy; they hardly swim throughout the tank. But some small breeds of fish like guppies are very fast swimmers. They have amazing reflexes and watching them swim in the tank is good for your concentration.
Non-violent
Never keep carnivorous and aggressive fish as pets. Fish like sharks and piranhas are not good luck for your home because they are too aggressive. A hungry piranha can actually scoop meat from your fingers. Sharks too are very territorial and promote sentiments of in-fighting in the family. It is best to have peaceful fish like gold fish in your aquarium.
Not Too Big
Fish that grow into large monsters are not very good for your home. Fish should grow to manageable sizes. Having monsters in our fish tank is not very advisable from the Vastu point of view. Such aquarium fish are not lucky for your home. Mollies and tetras etc are fish that grow to small or medium sizes.
