Cleaning & Maintaining Boots - Tips For Suede, Ugg

Suede or ugg boots, anything you buy have the same maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Cleaning Suede Boots – Suede boots are velvety, comfortable and elegant. The high fashion heeled boots are a little hard to clean as they may lose the softness and texture. Here is what you need to do.
1. In case your suede boots are wet, absorb the excess water using paper towels or cotton. Stuff old piece of cloth or newspaper into shoes to absorb the inner moisture. Sun dry as much as you can (if sunny).
2. Hair dryers or room heaters are a good use to dry the boots. You can use a branded ink eraser or white eraser to remove stains on the shoes. Your old tooth brush can remove salt, sand or mud stains (as they become powdery after dry).
3. For harder stains, you can go for aerosol sprays and wipe off well with dry cloth. Since the sole is rubber it can washed with any detergent and old tooth brush.
Cleaning Ugg Boots
1. These boots can be cleaned gently with water and sponge. Stuff the boots with an discardable piece of cloth.
2. To maintain shoes and make it smell good, add a few drops of fragrant oil to baking powder and corn starch and mix well. Sprinkle into the shoes and leave it overnight.
These cleaning tips work best even during winter (winter care) because the artificial heaters carry out the job of sunlight. These tips can also be utilised for other leather upholstery.
