It is summer and you may need ceiling fans to beat the heat. But dirty fan blades may cause various allergies and also spoil the electrical equipment due to wobbling. Today, there are various types of ceiling fans that are not only just fans but also serve lighting to the living room. Take a look at how to clean and maintain ceiling fans with simple steps.

Clean And Maintain Ceiling Fans –

1. Before you start with cleaning, first, turn off the ceiling fan.

2. With the help of a duster, first, dust the blades of the fan (both upper and lower part of the blades)

3. Use safer equipments like stools or aluminium ladders to climb and dust the ceiling fans.

4. For a bucket of water, add an anti bacterial and germ free cleaning agent (Dettol, Colin etc) and with the help of a sponge or a waste cloth wipe off all the fine dust on the blades.

5. Using paper towels or tissues pat the wet blades dry. Turn the blades until another blade is within the reach. Continue with the cleaning procedure.
