Get Rid Of Fruit Flies In Your Home

In a home, there are many pests that torment you. The basic ones are the cockroaches, lizards, mosquitoes, house flies and fruit flies. The presence of fruit flies is extremely dangerous as they are major carriers of diseases.

Fruit flies usually make their presence when there is fruits in your home. No matter how much you try to cover your nutritious fruits they still find their way through and dig into it.

There are a number of ways for you to have pest control over fruit flies. You can get rid of them by using the home remedies.

1.Wine- Make a fruit fly trap, with a shallow dish consisting of red wine in it. Cover the dish using a plastic wrap with the help of a rubber band. Pierce a few holes on the plastic cover. Due to the sweet smell of the red wine the flies will get attracted to it.

2. Make a mixture of milk, raw sugar and ground pepper in a vessel. Simmer for 10 minutes on a low flame. After a while you will see the fruit flies getting attracted to the dish. It will soon suffocate and die.

3.Lemon grass- Using lemon grass oil, spray it around the house where these fruit flies are present. Mix two drops of oil with hot water. It is so effective that it can kill ants, spiders and other home pests.

4.Vinegar- White vinegar is very effective to get rid of fruit flies. Use ¼ of white vinegar mixed well with liquid detergent. Add in water to form bubbles to the mixture. The fruit flies will get attracted to the mixture and therefore get trapped easily.

5.Fruit Fly Trap- Using a fruit fly trap is an easy way of getting rid of these fruit flies. Place it in such a way that both the sides are exposed to trap the flies.

These measures will be help you get rid of these home pests and will also help you to prevent them from entering your home.
