Winter Ideas To Revamp Bedroom
When winter comes in full blast, then most comfortable place in the entire world is your bed. When the chills start to bother you, all you want to do is crawl under a heavy blanket and doze off feeling warm and comfortable. Most bedroom ideas are for theme decors or modern bedrooms. But these bedroom ideas will help you figure out the right bedroom decor for winter.
If you want to make your bedroom a comfortable place this winter, try these decor ideas to revamp it completely.

Sunny Side Up
Let the sunshine into your bedroom by having large French windows.

Winter Curtains
Go for double layered curtains to enjoy the sunshine during the day and stay warm at night.

Bring Out The Quilts
Use quilts as a prop to revamp your bedroom. match and contrast quilt covers to get the best effect.

Add Some Colour
Dark colours absorb heat and when your use them in your bedroom, they keep you warm.

Light It Up
Using warm yellow light in your bedroom too could make your winter nights comfortable.

Wall Paneling
Use warm materials like suede and wool as wall papers.
Sunny Side Up: Most people make the mistake of underestimating the power of sunshine in winters. The warm glow of winter sun can make your bedroom cheerful and comfortable. If you don't have large French (windows that cover the entire floor to ceiling area) windows in your bedroom, winter is the perfect time to get them.
Winter Curtains: The curtains for summer and winter can never be the same. Depending on how low the temperatures is, you need to choose the right material for winter curtains. Heavy velvet drapes on the inside and light linen on the outside is what I would personally advise. This bedroom idea allows you to fold back the heavy drapes and enjoy the sunshine during the day.
Dark Like Dungeons: As you know, black and all dark colours absorb heat. So do away with the white and beige in your bed linen. You need to add dark colours like blue, deep green, violet and black to your bedroom winter decor.
Bring Out The Quilts: Every year you use your quilts and blankets merely as means to keep yourself warm. This year use them as props for your winter decor. Get some new interesting covers made for your quilts with designs before winter sets in. Match and contrast them with your curtains to revamp your bedroom.
Light Up To Keep Warm: Very few people actually use a real fireplace these days. However, the principle of the fireplace remains. You can use light instead of fire to give you warmth. Use lots of bulbs in your lanterns, lampshades etc. This bedroom idea works on the principle that yellow light is warmer than blue neon light.
Wall Paneling: Your walls could keep you warm if you use the right bedroom ideas. Instead of leaving the walls bare, panel them with warm wall paper. Use suede or light woolen wall papers to cover your walls during winters.
These are some of the easy ways to keep your bedroom warm in winter. Try these and tell us how it worked for you.
