Decorating your house for Christmas is a great way to enhance the mood and spirit of the festive season. It is the time to enjoy a meal together with your friends and relatives. To make every meal special this Christmas, here are few ideas to decorate the dining table.

1. Choose a theme for the dining room. As it is Christmas, you can go for bold colours especially red.

2. Candles can help you decorate the dining table. This is elegant and not so bright lights sets the perfect mood!

3. You can put a small Christmas tree in the center or else use some flowers as the centerpiece for Christmas decorations.

4. Use red table mats and white napkins. If you want to decorate the dining table chairs, you can use silk red ribbons and tie as bows.

5. A candle stand in the center of the dining table is also a great idea to decorate for Christmas. It is elegant and adds a different glow in the night.

6. Bonsai plant can be used for the perfect party decorations. Wine glasses are a must! Clan and keep shining glasses on the left side of the plates.

7. If you are using white table cloth, decorate with red candles and red table mats if required.

8. You can keep some candies and chocolates in a small bowl to attract kids attention while dining. Wrap the chocolates in gift papers and use ribbons to decorate them.
