How To Be A Basically Healthy Person
Health is wealth. These are golden words indeed. But how many of us take some time out of our daily schedule to think about our health and follow a healthy lifestyle? There are small tips and tricks to keep in mind if you want to stay healthy.
Healthy eating may be a real challenge if you are busy all the time. We all love the thought of eating a healthy and balanced diet, but we do not always have the time for shopping, preparing food and cooking. That is why we reach out for ready made foods that are often processed and full of fat, salt and sugar.

Make sure you pack your meals with fibre-rich food like oats, whole grain cereals, vegetables and fruits. Include healthy fat like almond butter and olive oil in your diet. Skinless chicken and fish are great sources of protein. If you are a vegetarian, go for beans and tofu, which are also great sources of protein. Include calcium-rich foods like yogurt in your diet.

One easy and interesting way to eat is by colouring your plate with different coloured food items. Also, eat with your friends and family. Enjoy your food. This will help in digestion and better absorption of nutrients.

Also drink a lot of water throughout the day. Water helps to flush out toxins from the body and aids in digestion. Insufficient intake of water causes dehydration, which can lead to a number of diseases. Also reduce your intake of tea, coffee and cold drinks as much as possible.

You also need to exercise on a regular basis. Get your body moving. Even thirty minutes of brisk walking everyday will work wonders. It will protect you from a number of diseases and increase your strength and stamina.

Last but not the least, get enough sleep. If you do not get enough sleep during the night, you can become a victim of a number of diseases like high blood pressure, heart ailments and diabetes. It can also cause anxiety, irritation and depression. So in order to stay healthy, get at least seven to eight hours of sleep everyday.
