Yoga Poses For Firm Breasts
Be it man or woman, a well-toned figure not only brings about good looks but also reflects a healthy body. In today’s world a slender body is desired by all and when it comes to women the issue becomes a little too serious. Plumpness and sagging skin are not seen in good light. In fact it becomes a little embarrassing for the woman herself and due to this a huge surge has been seen in women taking up fitness and beauty regimes. But how many women pay attention to sagging breasts?
Sagging breasts is a problem that many women face, especially after pregnancy and breast feeding. At the same time not many women are comfortable talking about it or taking up measures to set things right. But for those interested in improving their breasts there are quite a few yoga poses for breast firmness.

Accept it or not, breasts do play an important role in defining a woman’s beauty. It is true that internal beauty is more important than the external one but appearance cannot be overlooked. And when it comes to appearance the breasts do matter. As for the woman herself, breasts do hold a very important position. They play a defining role in the beauty of a woman and yoga for breast fat reduction can be an effective means to achieve firmness.
Why do breasts sag?
Before we go on to discuss yoga poses for breast firmness it will be helpful to understand why breasts do sag. There are a couple of reasons for this.
• Pregnancy
• Breast feeding
• Age
• Ill-fitting bra size
• Improper posture
• Lack of exercise
• Weight gain
As far as the first three reasons are concerned there is hardly much to do to prevent them but the others can definitely be controlled. In fact sagging breasts due to pregnancy and breastfeeding can be reversed to a great extent by exercising yoga for breast fat control. And when it comes to the age factor a proper fitness regime can do a good deal to delay this sagging process.
Yoga for breast firmness
So what are we waiting for? This ancient Indian practice offers so much towards acquiring health and fitness that the sooner we adopt it the better. There are quite a number of yoga poses for breast firming which when practiced regularly deliver desired results.
As you will notice these poses primarily work towards tightening the chest muscles and making the breasts take a position which goes against the gravitational force. Following are some of the asanas which help bring about breast firmness.
Suryanamaskar: Involving a series of postures this asana is well-known for toning the entire body, along with the breasts. Unlike most asanas, Suryanamaskar requires the person to take a backward bending position. A ten minute routine of this asana everyday helps open up the chest muscles, tighten them and firm up breasts.
Sirshasana: Sirsh means head and this pose requires the person to do a head-stand posture. What happens here is that while standing on one’s head the breasts take a posture against gravity, unlike the normal posture. This helps bring about firmness and shape improvement.
Vrikshasana: Vriksh means tree which means one is supposed to stand erect as a tree. Maintain a firm spine, arms on the sides and feet close together. Gradually lift both hands in a namaskar and bring in front of your chest. Lift right leg till the right foot touches the left knee. Maintain this posture for a couple of minutes and then change sides.
Bhujangasana: This is also known as ate cobra asana. It involves lying face down on the floor. With the support of the hands the head and chest are gradually raised, like a cobra. This enables tightening of the pectoral muscles and expanding of the chest.
Yoga poses for breast improvement are sure to help everyone who practices them. However, there is one word of caution. Before taking up any yoga lessons or any such regime be sure to consult your doctor or health adviser.
