How Much Water Should You Drink In Summer?
Summer calls for dehydration, loss of energy and fatigue. But there is a way out to beat the heat and feel fresh under the hot sun. One of the best health tips for summer is to drink a lot of water. But there is always a confusion on how much water to drink in a day for adults.
There is no fixed amount of water that one should drink. Generally, a least of 3 litres of water in a day is recommended for an adult. Apart from the generic amount, there are also certain factors that determine how much water to drink in a day for adults. Work stress: During summer, people who have field job get exposed to the scorching heat and hence, they tend to get dehydrated easily. Thus, one must not restrict himself to just 3-litre mark. Then how much water to drink in a day for an adult who works on field under the hot sun? The answer to this is a minimum of 5 litres. Another summer health tip is that along with drinking a lot of water, you must also protect yourself from the sun by wearing sun protection gears.

Health and fitness level: Every adult has a different fitness level and body requirements. Water intake depends on the fitness level. If you are weak with respect to body functionality and immunity, you should drink more water to prevent any dehydration. An adult must have a minimum of 5 litres if they have problems related to dehydration. A summer health tip for those who frequently have dehydration and health-related problems is that he/she must also drink energy drinks such as glucose and fresh fruit juices along with water.
Other alternatives: If you want to know how much water to drink in a day for adults, read this. An adult should drink an amount of three to four litres of water daily but must also drink certain natural coolers. It helps to keep the water level up in your body always and does not make you feel tired and fatigued. One must drink fresh fruit juices, glucose, coconut water, buttermilk and other naturally made juices or coolers that will help you to re-energise yourself. This a good summer health tip for all adults. Heath drinks and juices must be included in the meals as well as in between meals. Avoid cold coffee, ice creams and milkshakes as they are not healthy.
