Artificial sweeteners contribute to weight gain and obesity just as much as refined sugars. Moreover, artificial sweeteners trigger a weird reaction in the body that makes it crave for sweets.
Diet Foods
Diet coke better than coke they say. Well, diet foods contain high degrees of artificial sugars. Prepackaged and frozen foods that carry the tag "diet" are cancer causing owing to their content of artificial sweeteners. Artificial sweeteners contain aspartame, a known, perilous carcinogen.
Soda Pop and cool drinks
Soda pop is replete with artificial sweeteners and various chemical preservatives that have a high incidence of giving rise to cancer cells in the human body.
Canned Stuff
The potency to trigger harmful reactions in the body is high for canned foods. However, this is directly dependent on the lining of the can. In the case of canned tomatoes for instance, the can is lined with bisphenol.
