Packaged And Pre Processed Foods To Avoid
In today's age of quick fix meals, we have inevitably become prone to consuming processed and pre packaged foods. The American lifestyle is tuned in a way to strictly follow this procedure of consuming food that is striped with nutrients. It is convenient and readily available, but what happens to your body In the long run remains unknown to people who are unaware.
Did you know that packaged and pre processed foods contain preservatives which will increase the shelf life of the items. This in turn makes it an ideal choice for working people who live fast paced lives. On the other hand, it also serves good returns to the packaged food industry, which is considered as one of the fast paced food industries in the market.
It is said that packaged food also contains additives which is to increase the longevity of the item, to conserve the taste and to also protect it from harmful germs.
Here are some of the packaged and pre processed foods to avoid to lead a healthier and happier life. It is time you say no to these foods and stay safe. You should also know that these packaged and pre processed foods contains elements like sodium which result in rashes, allergies, constipation and indigestion.

Soy Milk
For women who are going through the phase of menopause, soy milk is good. However, you should reduce the intake of soy milk to once in a month basis. Women who are not in this phase should avoid soy milk as it contains a toxin called hexane. The toxin can lead to reproductive problems.

Ice Tea mixers
The convenient use of the ice tea mixers is not good for your health. It contains a lot of sugar when compared to a can of cola. The mix also has high amounts of fructose corn syrup and artificial flavours which is not good for your body. Therefore, it is best to avoid this packaged food.

Multigrain Atta (Breads)
You must know that the packaged multigrain atta is not as healthy as they claim to be. Avoid this packaged food on a daily basis as it is mixed with assorted grains. The assorted grains can cause constipation and dehydration when compared to whole wheat which is actually good.

Margarine
The tasty and thick margarine is believed to be a healthier substitute to butter. This substitute contains trans fat oil which is a number one pre processed food to avoid. It increases cholesterol and reduces the body's immunity.

Canned food
On top of the list, pre processed food to avoid is can food. It contains high amount of bisphenol - A (BPA), which is a hormone disruption chemical. This BPA causes problem in the reproductive system and can bring about the onset of breast cancer.

Popcorn
Salty and butterly delicious popcorn when popped in a microwave is another convenient packaged food to avoid. The microwave popcorn contains high level of sodium and a chemical called diacetyl which is not beneficial to health.

Tetra fruit juices
The so called "extra fruit' content is not present in tetra fruit juices. Avoid this packaged food because it contains added sugar and preservatives to increase its shelf life. Opt for fresh fruit juice as it is healthy and has fruit content in it.

Meat
One of the other packaged foods to avoid is frozen meat. Youngsters who live alone, enjoy the companion of frozen meat. It is loaded with hydrogenated oils, artificial ingredients and preservatives. Freshly chopped meat is better and safer to consume.

Drinking water
We all believe that the packaged drinking water is safe for consumption. Yes, it is. But, for daily consumption, no! This packaged food is to be avoided because the bottle contains chemicals like BPA and phthalates which on regular use causes obesity and damage to the brain.

Energy Drinks
It is promised to give you the required energy, but this energy is short lived. This pre processed food should be avoided because it contains caffeine and high levels of sugar called 'sugar bombs'. Switch to a cup of coffee or other substitutes like that of fresh lemon juice to increase your energy levels.
