This Is What Happens When You Do Not Eat Enough Fibre
Read this article to know about certain things that happen when you do not include enough fibre in your diet.
Making fibre a part of your daily diet is essential to keep you healthy in the long run. It helps to keep the heart healthful by lessening the risk of heart problems, reduces constipation and assists with weight management.
Besides all this, all sources of fibre contain a lot of nutrients in the form of minerals and vitamins which are essential for the functioning of the body on a day to day basis.

Processed foods are foods stripped of fibre. So, avoid them at all cost. Today in this article we shall talk about certain things that happen to our body when we do not take in enough fibre.

1. Constipation:
What a lot of people do not realize is an unhealthy diet that lacks water and fibre may cause constipation. Consequently, a healthful balanced diet can, in fact, relieve and prevent constipation from occurring.
Foods rich in fibre include fruits, veggies, legumes, nuts and whole grains. Both soluble and insoluble fibre can help to alleviate and prevent constipation. The foods that you need to consume include foods which are full of fibre and water.

2. Hungry All The Time:
If you do not include enough fibre in your diet, you will end up hungry in no time at all. This is because fibre keeps you full for a longer period of time as it takes a long time to break down.

3. High Blood Sugar:
It is fibre that keeps your blood sugar stable. If you eat foods that are high in carbohydrates and do not include enough fibre in your diet, you will end up with high blood sugar levels. This is the reason why people who have diabetes are asked to go for a high-fibre diet.

4. High Cholesterol Level:
A high-fibre diet is essential to flush out cholesterol from your body. This is because the cholesterol binds with the fibre and gets flushed out of the system. A diet that lacks in fibre can lead to high cholesterol levels.
