10 Foods To Prepone Your Periods

If your cycles get irregular, it could be a cause of concern. Also, in some cases, late periods could cause mood swings too. The reasons could be medical conditions, stress, travel or any other lifestyle conditions.

As monthly cycles play a significant role in the reproductive health of women, it is better to monitor the regularity of periods carefully. If you wish to prepone the period by a few days, there are some natural remedies.

Remember that preponing or postponing a period could disturb the hormonal levels in your body. In fact, it is not advisable to alter the natural cycles but only if the period is late, try the below remedies.



Mix a teaspoon of honey with a teaspoon of sesame seeds and consume the mixture. Do this 3 times a day. You can try this from a week before your actual monthly cycle date.



Consume a small piece of ginger mixed with a spoon of honey. Try this in the morning to prepone your period.



You can also eat pineapple slices 3 times a day to prepone your periods. Don't over eat them.


Pumpkin Seeds

Eat a handful of pumpkin seeds thrice a day before your actual due date to see if you can prepone your period. These are a few remedies to get your period early.



A couple of days before the actual date, you can eat dates as a snack for an entire day to prepone your period.



Mix a teaspoon of sesame seeds with jaggery and consume the mixture. This can also prepone your period.



Boil a handful of fenugreek seeds in a cup of water and drink the mixture. This could prepone the process by 2 days.



Drink a glass of papaya juice 3 times a day. Papaya can stimulate estrogen and may start your period early.



Try drinking a glass of pomegranate juice. This is a simple remedy to start your period a few days before.


Carrot Juice

Even carrot juice can serve the purpose as it contains compounds that can stimulate the hormone that can prepone your period.
