Home Remedies To Reduce Body Heat
If you are ailing with excess body heat then there is no better treatment than taking up home remedies. This article deals with few of the home remedies to reduce body heat.
Heat stress commonly known as body heat is one among the common health problems which is caused by prolonged exposure to high temperature.
Body heat occurs when your body is not able to maintain coolness under the temperature. However, human body generally cools down by releasing sweat but sometimes sweating is just not enough.
Body heat is not a serious disease but it should be taken seriously so that it does not affect a person at an extreme level.
Check out few effective remedies to reduce the body heat and keep your body cool.
1. Coconut water
Coconut water is the best liquid that a person should drink while getting exhausted. This refreshing drink contains electrolyte composition which is loaded with nutrients further lifting the energy of a person. You should drink a glass of coconut water every day in order to keep your body cool.
2. Sandalwood
Sandalwood contains cooling and soothing properties which help to keep your body cool and calm. Take two spoons of sandalwood and mix some water to make a thick paste. Now add few drops of rose water and apply this paste on your forehead and chest. Allow the sandalwood mask to dry and rinse off with normal water.
3. Peppermint
Peppermint contains cooling effect which helps to reduce the body heat instantly. Take few fresh peppermint leaves and put in a pot of boiling water. Now strain the leaves and allow the water to cool down. Now add this water to the normal bathing water and soak in this water for 20-30 minutes. Repeat doing this daily to reduce the heat in the body.
4. Watermelon
Due to the high content of water in this fruit, watermelon helps to remove all the toxins from the body which contributes to the formation of heat in the body. You should consume watermelon on daily basis to lower down the heat and keep your body well hydrated.
5. Aloe vera
Using aloe vera is one among the effective remedies that helps to keep your body cool. Due to cooling properties in aloe vera, it helps to maintain the normal temperature of the body. Extract some fresh aloe vera gel from the plant and rub it all over your body. Repeat doing this every day. Another way to include aloe vera in your daily regime is drink fresh aloe vera juice every day.
6. Indian gooseberry
Due to vitamin C present in the Indian gooseberry often known as amla, it helps to reduce the heat in the body. Mix one portion of amla with four portions of water. Add some sugar or salt for taste and drink it daily. Drink this juice for two times in a day according to the heat generated in your body.
7. Buttermilk
Since ages, buttermilk is used to beat the heat in the body. Apart from this, this is extremely beneficial for a woman who often struggles with sweat issues and hot flashes. Buttermilk provides the right amount of minerals and vitamins in the body. Drink buttermilk two times in a day to beat the heat at it's best.
8. Poppy seeds
Poppy seeds help to regulate the temperature in the body, thanks to its cooling effect. Take one spoon of poppy seeds and crush it in a blender or with hand. Now add some sugar to make a powder. Consume this daily to get rid of the summer heat.
9. Cool water
One among the simplest remedy to beat the heat is drinking cold water. As soon as you feel there is a change in body temperature, take a glass of water and sip it. This will prevent dehydration in the body and avoid getting worse. Another way is always add some ice cubes to the water so that it is cool for a longer period of time.
10. Lemon
Lemon helps to keep your body cool and prevent dehydration. Drinking lemon juice with sabja seeds helps to keep your energy level high and also oxidates the body well to keep you feeling refreshed and energetic.
