10 Home Remedies For Gingivitis

1. Use Salt
If you have gingivitis home remedies must include this simple yet valuable ingredient. Mix ½ tsp salt with water and wash your mouth at morning and evening. The antibacterial properties in salt will reduce the swollen gum.

2. Oil Pulling

5. Lemon Juice

6. Aloe Vera
You have heard about the effectiveness of aloe vera for your skin. It is also good for your gum. Extract the pulp of aloe vera leaf and apply directly on your calm. Wash with cold water after 10 minutes.

7. Clove
The antiseptic and antioxidants properties are the best home remedy. Just chew 2-3 cloves when you feel gum pain. Try a mouthwash of clove oil with warm water. Use it twice daily for effective result.

8. Guava Leaf

9. Tea-tree Oil
Apart from its other usages, it is also effective for diminishing your gingivitis. The anti-inflammatory objects of tea-tree oil reduce infection and irritation of your gum. Use toothpaste which has this as main component. Otherwise, add few drops in your regular toothpaste.

10. Peppermint
Use peppermint leaves to make a solution with warm water and wash your mouth after brushing. You can also have peppermint tea in between your meals to refresh your mouth and this will reduce your bad breathe problem.
