10 Foods That Triggers Insomnia
No matter what happens we gorge on the obvious food culprits chocolates, desserts and ice creams. Undoubtedly, these foods are considered to be mood lifters and gives us instant happiness. However, these foods which are high on carbohydrates could also be the reason to trigger insomnia.
Insomnia or sleeplessness is a common disorder that has effected the lives of many and eventually, the blame goes to either work pressure or any disturbance in life. The real culprit however remains safe. In order to understand the cause of insomnia it is important for us to realize the fact that we need to change our lifestyle according to needs of the body than our interest.
Any human being requires atleast 8 hours of sleep to have a balanced life, even an hour less or more makes the day dull. However, there are people who go for sleepless nights for days even without knowing the reason behind it. It is necessary to get this disorder checked and find a solution. Likewise, it is our responsibility to watch what we eat that is causing insomnia.
Some of the main foods that are said to trigger insomnia are caffine based foods or drink, food allergy and food sensitivity. While eating, some of us get so much involved that we fail to recognize if the food suits our body or not.
Here are some foods that is said to be the major cause to trigger insomnia. Find out what are you allergic to and avoid it so that you will have a good night sleep and not end up being a victim of insomnia.

Caffine high foods
Caffine consumption has become a part of our daily diet. Tea, coffee, chocolates and energy drinks are onsidered to be the main carriers of caffine.

Alcohol
Alcohol is responsible for dehydration leading to disrupted serotonin level leading to sleeplessness. Other sleep related problems include shallow sleep and frequent awakening.

High protein foods
Protein rich foods, especially red meat are difficult to digest. They prevent sleep by inhibiting the production of serotonin which makes you alert all night.

Gas producing food
Gas and heartburn can be very problematic as it leaves a person with complete discomfort. In order to get good sleep, stay away from spicy and gas producing food like peas, beans and broccoli.

High sugar foods
Sugar increases energy, this inturn leads to imbalance sleep pattern. Sugary foods like cakes, chocolates and desserts alleviates mood which is the major cause that leads to nigh time walking.

Dairy products
Foods that contains high fat milk, curd, cheese and butter can be hard to digest. And leaves you with a feeling of heaviness, eventually causing heartburn.

Fast foods
These type of foods no doubt have the potential of causing insomnia. They are not just high in fats but are spicy as well. From a simple burger to tacos. They are ought to cause insomnia.

Tobacco and nicotine
These products stimulates the mood and helps in giving relief instantly. However, these products are not just bad for health but also leads to insomnia

Liquids
Drinking too much water is good, but during evening and nights it is recommended to drink limted water as it leaves you feel bloated and will make you visit the washroom frequently.

Packaged foods
Packaged foods or processed foods are also known as senitive food. Eating them at night may lead to heartburn as they contain high fats.
