Diet Tips For Periods (Periods Diet) -
1. For painful menstrual cramps, drink hot water mixed with a teaspoon of pure ghee.
2. Drink more water (at least 8 glasses, preferably hot) during periods as it provides good hydration to the body.
3. Avoid junk and non spicy foods. Eat spinach and more iron rich green leafy vegetables during periods to prevent anemia.
4. For a proper digestion of food during periods eat fruits like Papaya.
5. For a good sleep during periods drink hot milk with poppy seeds.
6. If you suffer from stomach ache during periods drink a glass of buttermilk with soaked methi (fenugreek) seeds.
