Prevent Acne During Menstruation With Easy Remedies

1.Apple Cider Vinegar – One of the major causes of acne during this time is the rupture of the acid mantle on the skin. Acid mantle is the thin layer on the skin which protects the skin pores get affected with bacteria. To maintain the acid mantle, apply apple cider vinegar soaked in cotton on your face seven days before your menstruation date. Let the vinegar on the skin dry and then apply another coat. Repeat the process twice a day. Application of Apple Cider vinegar is one of the best remedies to prevent acne during menstruation.
2.Tea Tree Oil – Tea tree oil kills the all the bacteria which cause acne. Thus, one should start applying the tea tree oil before and during the periods date. Take some tea can be applied directly on the skin using a cotton ball or can be mixed with the regular lotion to stay on your skin the whole day.
3.Stay Hydrated – Another cause of acne is dryness of the skin. This demands you to stay hydrated. To stay hydrated you should increase your intake of water and fruit juice. Fruit juice is rich in Vitamin C which is known to be good for skin. This helps keep the skin healthy and increase the immunity .
4.Distress – The main remedy to prevent acne during menstruation is to control stress. Thus, we are generally asked to not take much work pressure during periods. The Body anyways goes through a lot of hormonal changes which causes stress and to top it up with more stress with work etc, becomes too much for the body to handle. Thus, skin is affected which enhances the occurrence of acne.
5.Diet – It is important to provide your skin the immunity to fight the Acne bacteria. This diet should include a lot of green vegetables, fruits, nuts, essential oils etc. Avoid junk food, oily food and food with excessive fat content. This is to ensure your digestive system. At the time of menstruation one needs to keep the system of the body at rest. Any digestive disorders will enhances the skin disorders.
