Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Acidity

Our body excretes acid fluid to digest the food we have eaten but when these acids flow in excess they pass on to the lower esophagus, thus causing problem. The general symptom of acidity are – burning sensation, nausea, pain in abdomen, vomiting, bitter taste and giddy feeling.
Acidity, is ignored for a long time can become chronic and get worse. Popping an anti-acid does not work if you are regularly facing the problem. It only subsides it for few hours, but, does not cure it. Home remedies are the best treatment.
Home Remedies
1.Chilled milk, is a great respite to acidity.
2.Over night soaked puffed rice, taken the first thing in the morning, cures acidity.
3.Boil a cup of water with Mulethi and Mint. Sip on it three times a day.
4.Swallow cumin seeds with a glass of water after meals, to avoid acidity.
5.Loads of water, is the best way to avoid acidity.
6.Avoid intake of chillies, onion and garlic.
7.Mix a spoon of soda in a glass of water, and drink it two hours after meals.
8.Proper digestion of food is very necessary. It is disturbed with intake of complicated dishes or over eating. Avoid This.
9.Black tea in empty stomach in the morning, works wonders.
10. An idle body is the house of many diseases. Workout for at least 20 mints a day, to keep healthy and fit.
11.Bath with cold water, helps your body and mind to stay healthy.
12. Clay plaster on the body helps to keep it cool.
13. Regular body massage, results in proper working of the organs.
One of the main reasons for acidity, is stress. Stress effects the body tremendously. Stress is a tensed state of body which induces certain chemicals to flow. Chemicals which protect the body from pain, depression etc. Too much of stress can result in the burn out of these chemicals. The overflow of these chemicals are too harmful for the health. In the same way, the chemicals used to digest the food, flow in larger quantity, leading to acidity. Acidity caused by stress, mostly leads to ulcers. These ulcers can be very dangerous. The only way to keep your body stress free, is to practice Yoga and meditation. Stress is a mental state and thus, a patient calm mind will lead to de-stress and a healthy body.
