Raw Mango Vegetarian Salad

All you need is
100 gms white rice
1 tsp mustard seeds
100 gms grated coconut
2 red chillies
1 tsp ghee
¼ channa dal
¼ urad dal
¼ saffron/turmeric powder
' cup of grated raw mango
A pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste
Directions
1.Boil the rice till it is tender and firm. Set aside.
2.Make a paste by grinding the red chilli, grated coconut and mustard seeds.
3.In a pan, heat the ghee. Add in the extra mustard seeds to the hot ghee. Add in the asafoetida, channa dal, urad dal and the turmeric/saffron and fry.
4. Now add in the raw grated mango, coconut paste, boiled rice and season it well with salt to taste.
5.Mix well and serve at room temperature or chilled.
