INGREDIENTS Aamwali Dal:
1' Cup Tuvar Dal (Red Gram split)
Half Raw Mango, grated
1 tbsp Garlic
1 tsp Rye (Mustard Seeds)
3 tbsp Coconut grated
' tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
1 tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Chopped Coriander
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Pepper Powder
Few Curry Leaves
Oil for seasoning
Salt to taste
METHOD Aamwali Dal :
Pressure-cook Dal with Turmeric. Remove to a vessel and add Salt, Sugar, Mangoes and Pepper. Cook on low flame for 10 mts.
Heat Oil, add Mustard seeds, Jeera, chopped Garlic and fry until the Garlic turns goden brown, add Curry leaves and pour this on the Dal and mix well. Add Coconut and stir. Add Coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve with Rice or Roti's.
