This 10 minute chutney recipe, will not accommodate too much of your time too, which is why many mums opt for this recipe. If you want to prepare this yummy and easy chutney, you should know that going easy on the ginger is important. Too much of ginger added to this breakfast recipe will only make the dish seem indigestible.
Ginger coconut chutney is also the best for old folks as ginger provides an easier access to digestion. Consuming this ingredient in the morning will also keep away bad breath.

Here is the ginger coconut chutney recipe to enjoy with your fluffy idlis:
Serves: 6
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients
- Grated coconut - 1 cup
- Ginger - 2 pcs (skinned and washed)
- Green chillies - 3 (sliced)
- Tamarind - 2 pinches
- Salt to taste
- Coconut oil - 1 tsp
Procedure
- Take a mixer and add in all the ingredients to it.
- Grind the ingredients except the oil into a coarse paste.
- If the paste gets a little too thick, add in a little water to the paste to thin it.
- When done, add in the oil to the chutney.
- Using a spoon, mix it well.
- Your garlic chutney is now ready to eat. This vegetarian recipe can be enjoyed when cold too. It adds to a different flavour.
