Mexican Egg Cheese Wrap For Breakfast

This egg cheese wrap recipe is not time consuming as you need a microwave. Tortilla which is a thin flat bread made from finely grounded wheat flour is also nutritious since it consists of wheat grain.

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • Flour tortilla - 1 or 2 (8-inch)
  • Egg - 1
  • Mexican cheese - 2 tbsp (shredded)
  • Salsa sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste

Procedure

  • You first need to press the flour tortilla into a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Now crack an egg into the center of the flour tortilla. Beat the egg gently with the help of a fork. (While doing this, make sure you do not to tear the tortilla) Note: You can also beat the egg and blend it separately before you add it to the tortilla, but the essence of the egg soaked in the flour will be lost.
  • Now place the tortilla into the microwave and set it for 45 seconds.
  • Now check to see if the egg has been cooked, if it isn't then place it in the microwave again and set the time to 20 seconds more.
  • Now remove the tortilla from the bowl and place it on a flat surface.
  • Top the tortilla with the Mexican shredded cheese, salsa sauce and a pinch of salt. Fold the bottom of the tortilla and cover the sides by folding it gently.

Your egg cheese wrap is now ready to eat. If you want to eat another wrap, follow the same procedure.
