Take a look to know how to make this secret dosa mix at home. Our ingredient list isn't very complicated but contains some smart additions that will make the dosas very delicious.

Dosa Mix Recipe -

Ingredients:

For easy batter:

  1. 4 cups rice (soaked overnight)
  2. 1 cup urad dal
  3. 1 cup pressed rice (for crisp)
  4. 2 tbsp fenugreek seeds (for colour)
  5. 5-6 white hibiscus petals (Makes dosa soft)

Smart add ons while making dosa:

  1. 2 tsps oil
  2. 1 tsp sugar
  3. Salt as per requirement

How To Make Dosa Mix?

1. Grind the above ingredients into a smooth batter.

2. Before spreading the batter on the dosa pan (like pancakes) add oil, sugar and salt and mix well.

3. After half an hour spread the dosa mix evenly in a circular pattern and fry on both sides until golden brown. You can add oil, butter or ghee while frying to make it even tastier.

Enjoy the dosas with chutney or any spicy curry.
