This easy Indian coconut pancake recipe is a must try this morning. To make this Indian coconut pancake, all you have to do is follow the simple recipe which is given below. Pancakes are also commonly referred to sweet dosas, with an added topping to bring about a different taste.
Serves : 3
Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 10 minutes
Ingredients
Flour- 2cups
Eggs - 2
Milk -1 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar -1/2 cup
Baking powder - 1tsp
Coconut - 1 cup (grated)
Procedure
You need to first beat the eggs in a bowl.
Add the salt, baking powder and sugar to the egg batter.
Now add the flour and whisk well to avoid lumps.
Now heat a nonstick pan on a medium flame and when its hot, pour a spoonful of batter in the centre of the pan.
Add a drop of oil around the pancake for it to cook.
When the pancake is cooked on one side, flip it to the other side.
Sprinkle grated coconut over the pancake.
Repeat the same method with the remaining batter.
When it turns golden brown, turn off the flame.
Your Indian coconut pancake is now ready to eat. You can also add chopped fruits or crushed nuts instead of coconut.
