Aloo Bread Toast: Breakfast Recipe
There are many people who love to have bread for breakfast. There are ample recipes that you can prepare suing bread as the chief ingredient. However, most common bread recipes are bread toast, sandwich and French toast.
Vegetarians are often stuck with simple bread recipes like vegetable sandwich, bread cutlet to name a few. However, there is one more bread recipe which is filling, delicious and easy to make as well. All you need is 30 minutes to prepare this sumptuous breakfast recipe. Aloo Bread Toast: Breakfast Recipe

Serves: 4 toasts
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- Bread slices- 8
- Potato- 5-6 (boiled and peeled)
- Green chillies- 3 (finely chopped0
- Ginger- ½ inch (grated)
- Green peas- a handful
- Carrots- 2 (finely chopped)
- Capsicum- 1 (finely chopped)
- Turmeric powder- 1 ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder- 2tsp
- Chaat masala- a pinch
- Garam masala- a pinch
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1tbsp
- Ghee/butter- ½ cup
Procedure
- Heat 2tbsp oil in a frying pan. Saute the onions for about a minute on a medium flame.
- Now add carrots, green chillies, carrot, capsicum and ginger. Mix well and cook for 6-7 minutes on a medium flame.
- Add salt, green peas and turmeric. Mix well and then add red chilli powder, chaat masala and garam masala.
- Cook for another minute. Meanwhile, mash the potatoes with a masher.
- Now add the mashed potatoes in the pan and mix well so that the ingredients are evenly mixed. Put the pan off flame.
- Heat tawa. Take the bread slices and stuff one with aloo masala. Cover with the slice and then keep on the plate. Repeat the same process with the remaining slices.
- Spread ghee or butter on the tawa and then roast each pair of toast on the tawa. Flip on the other side and then apply ghee or butter. Once the bread slices look brown, put them on the plate.
Aloo bread toast is ready to eat. Serve it hot with onion and cucumber salad, and tomato sauce.
