Ingredients of beetroot halwa recipe:
- Beetroot - 4 pieces
- Milk - 2 cups
- Sugar - 1/2 cup or as per taste
- Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ghee - 3 tablespoon
- Cashew nuts - few

- Raisins - few
- Almonds- handful
- khoya - 100 grams (optional)
- Condensed milk -As per taste (optional)

Method of preparation of beetroot halwa recipe:
1. Wash and peel beetroot. Grate it with a hand grater.
2. Put ghee in a deep bottomed frying pan and heat it.
3. Put cashew nuts, almonds in ghee and saute them on a low flame for few minutes. This will make them crispy.
4. Remove them from the pan and keep it aside.
5. Put the grated beetroots in warm ghee and saute them for some time on a low flame.
6. Now, add milk and khoya to it. Cook on low flame.
7. Add sugar, cardamom powder to it and mix well. Cook it on a low flame and keep on stirring occasionally.
8. Add condensed milk for more taste.
9. Cook it until the milk gets condensed and the mixture gets thickened.
10. Turn off the flame and garnish it with roasted cashew, almonds and few raisins.

11. Remove the beetroot halwa to a serving bowl.
Enjoy beetroot halwa as a healthy dessert.
