Lassi is one of the most common Indian summer drinks which is prepared in almost every household. Drinking lassi during summers is healthy for the body. Lassi prevents body heat and helps in cooling oneself.
There are many types of lassi recipes that you can prepare at home. From the traditional lassi to the flavoured ones, you can add several ingredients like mangoes, chocolates, litchi or bananas to prepare the seasonal lassi. Even nuts like almonds and saffron can be added to enjoy the thandai lassi!
One of the advantages of lassi is that this healthy summer drink can be prepared in minutes. Lassi is served in matka (clay pot) and the smell of mud makes the Indian summer drink all the more delicious.
