Homemade Pani Puri, Never This Healthy
Since it is summer vacation, your kids may be tempted to eat street foods like Pani Puri which are very unhealthy on roads, and for that, we have a simple procedure to help you prepare pani puri in your very home. Take a look at how to make the healthy snack (Indian food) Pani Puri with the most nutritious ingredients.
Homemade Pani Puri Recipe – Healthy Summer Snack
Ingredients:
To Make Puri:
2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup water
Salt as per requirement
For Pani:
1 green chili
4-5 mint leaves
1 tsp tamarind juice
' tsp chat masala powder
1 tsp jaggery water
salt to taste
For Filling:
1 potato (boiled, mashed)
1 cup sprouted green gram
1 tsp garam masala
Pinch of chili powder
salt
For Garnish:
' cup onion (finely chopped)
' cup carrots (grated)
¼ cup coriander leaves
Preparation:
1.Combine all the ingredients listed for puri and knead the dough well. Make small balls of the dough and roll it circularly. Deep fry the puris.
2. Blend all the ingredients for pani in a blender.
3. Mix all the ingrdients for filling. Make a hole on the puri and stuff a teaspoon of the filling. Sprinkle the chopped vegetables, dip the stuffed puri in pani and eat immediately.
Serve the puri in a plate with pani, filling and garnish in separate bowls. Enjoy the healthy snack with kids.
It is always best to relish homemade pani puri as it is prepared in the cleanest way possible.
